THRU the Bible continued with 13a:  An Introduction to the Literal Bible on Wisdom of God and Man.

NOTE:  This is on the #6 Top Topic of the Bible as outlined by the Bible itself, thus is legitimately called the Literal Bible as contrasted to the fake Literal of Scofield and his followers.  The outline is simple, to remind you, a listing of all the OT quotes in the NT, then an arrangement of those quotes in the most probable sequence God gave them to man through Prophets and Apostles (although Liberals like to labor on the exact sequence and waste time at historical criticism, it wastes time from spiritual enlightenment and welfare}.  Once in historical order, the quotes and NT interpretation (alias the Literal Bible), is given a major overall top outline of 12 divisions based on the subjects group of the quotes.

Two Kinds Response/People.

  1. Let a man ask in faith and without a desire to consume it on his own lusts in order to get wisdom from God: Proverbs 2:3-6 and James 1:5.

  2. Wisdom of God includes discipline of the LORD: Proverbs 3:12 and Hebrews 12:6.

  3. To turn sinner from error of ways: Proverbs 10:12 and James 5:20.

(1).  Saves a soul from death; and

(2).  Covers a multitude of sins.

  1. Some do the deed of their father the devil: Proverbs 18:4 and John 7:38.

Some wise and unwise responses to God.

  1. Those who have the knowledge of Jesus then return to worldly entanglements are like dogs returning to vomit: Proverbs 26:11 and II Peter 2:22.

  2. To plan on tomorrow apart from the will of God is foolish: Proverbs 27:1 and James 4:13.

  3. Rich foolishly fall into temptations and snares: Proverbs 28:20 and I Timothy 6:9.                                                                                                                                                           Making life’s decisions in terms of the terminal One Day.

  4. After tribulation the sun and moon will be darkened, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken: Ecclesiastes 12:1-3 and Mark 13:24.

  5. Then the meek will inherit the earth: Psalm 37:11 and Matthew 5:5.

  6. In preparation for this new people of the new heavens and earth God has provided a body, the body of Christ, as He took away burnt offerings and sacrifices: Psalm 40:6-8 and Hebrews 10:5.      The unwise eats bread at the table of Christ while they lift up their heel against Him:  Psalm 41:9 and John 13:18.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               God’s Eternal Wisdom rests in Christ.

  7. God the Father, Psalm 45:6,7 and Hebrews 1:8, says of God the Son:

            (1).  Your throne is forever, O God;

(2).  Rule of your kingdom is righteousness; and

(3).  You loved righteousness, hated iniquity.

  1. Some statements by Christ before made on earth:

(1).  They hated me without cause:  Psalm 69:4 and John 15:25.

(2).  The reproaches of God fell on me:  Psalm 69:9 and Romans 15:3.

Things you should notice about this section of the outline called WISDOM, from God and Man.

  1. It is a subject or topical outline of the total OT quotes in the NT from Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Psalms.

  2. This section of the Bible, that is Proverbs thru Psalms is often noted indeed THE WISDOM LITERATURE OF THE BIBLE, as contrasted to the sections of the historical books or the Prophets.

  3. The more you read it you will realize that this is what God wants us to know about WISDOM, and the time He wanted to reveal it was during the lives of David and Solomon. Of course, we came to learn it much later than that!

  4. Take a few moments to think about what God has for You in His literal outline of the Bible on Wisdom, like for example: first the Apostle James starts with a quote from Solomon in Proverbs 2:3-6 about the correct manner to get wisdom; how wisdom includes discipline from the Paul in Hebrews explanation of Proverbs 3:12 (you see this is an Apostle’s literal interpretation of Proverbs, and that is what II Peter 2:20,21.

“…knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation,[a] 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God[b] spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

And the reason THRU THE BIBLE calls this method of interpretation, really the only legitimate, legal, and truly literal interpretation of the Bible, the ASPI for Authorized Semi-Public Interpretation of the Bible.  The words “not private” demands a Public but it can not be complete Public, hence Semi-Public, because the Holy Spirit has to be involved in both the new birth and understanding by the Spirit.

  1. Much, much more, you study the outline; but the bottom line of this Proverbs through the first half of Psalms is “God’s Eternal Wisdom rests in Christ”.

FINAL NOTE:  You may want to look up each quote in the OT and its proper interpretation in the NT.  Later this outline will be paraphrased more completely and with the quotes, and it is called Top Topic of the Bible #6, Wisdom of God and Man.  Click the following:   You are welcome to download it free at any time.
