ONEs of God’s Word versus Divisions of Scofield.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one perfectly, without any mistakes, all powerful, all knowing.
The Bible is One, OT and NT, complete with salvation by grace from both the Prophets of the OT and the Apostles and Jesus of the NT.
Jews and Gentiles are ONE in the body of Christ, the church, and one in the forever kingdom established by Christ on earth.
The Lord Jesus Christ brought all things into One, Scofield and Satan seek to Divide.
Scofield mites want to divide the Bible into 7 very unequal divisions that among other things minimizes the consistent message of the forever kingdom in the Bible; want to divide a kingdom of earth (a false kingdom never in the literal Bible) from the kingdom of heaven; want to take captive as their own new theology the Scripture of “rightly dividing the Word” to cover up the condemnation in verses before of a secret rapture; they attempt to divide Jesus own “preaching of the gospel of the kingdom” into two phases: before rejection by the religious leaders of His day and after it is really, they say, preached by the converted nation of Israel to evangelize the world in this false and speculation one thousand year kingdom on earth in Palestine; and they fictitiously divide the world into two groups at this false rapture, one taken up and planted in Israel, another the church taken up and planted in heaven or in some of their speculations under Israel in Zion, and then a third is left in some parallel world to speculate on what happen to Israel and the rest of the world; and with the most unforgiveable blasphemy of Scofield and his followers, and they are many, is to separate the real Son of God, sent and instructed by Almighty God with the firm purpose of being a cornerstone into a factiously created Jesus that made mistake when he came preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and that the almighty God was mistaken on the purpose for which He sent Jesus, and gave Him instructions.
Believe me, it is just easier to take the Bible as it is without any 7 divisions, the only division being the OT and the NT, and the only way of salvation in both the OT and NT being by the grace of God!
Did you notice in those 7 dispensations of wrongly dividing the Word of God, that eternity, along with Christ and salvation prime subjects of the Bible hardly has an honorable mention.
” 7. Man under the personal reign of Christ. After the purifying judgments which attend the personal return of Christ to the earth, He will reign over restored Israel and over the earth for one thousand years. This is the period commonly called the millennium. The seat of His power will be Jerusalem, and the saints, including the saved of the dispensation of grace, namely the church, will be associated with Him in His glory. (See Isa. 2:1-4; Isa. 11; Acts 15:14-17; Rev. 19:11-21; Rev. 20:1-6.
But when Satan is “loosed a little season,” he finds the natural heart as prone to evil as ever, and easily gathers the nations to battle against the Lord and His saints, and this last dispensation closes, like all the others, in judgment. The great white throne is set, the wicked dead are raised and finally judged, and then come the “new heaven and a new earth.” Eternity is begun. (See Rev. 20:3,7-15; Rev. 21 and 22.)
What are in these 7 Dispensations are wrongfully presented, can you name some of them?
Jerry McMichael Remar Ala-juno, the speculated 7 by Scofield himself are listed in this article, http://biblecentre.org/content.php?mode=7&item=777. Dispensationalism, not even once mentioned in the Bible, is so confused sometimes they have 7, or 8, or 30. It is what you call isogesis for reading meaning into the Bible. Scofield under contract to Oxford to save face for Israel in the eyes of the world to promote the 1958 return, distorted the Bible thru notes. The reality is that God in the words of Jesus took the kingdom from Israel, giving it to Gentiles nations until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in; then more of a remnant will be saved, that is one half of Jerusalem in Zechariah 23. Perhaps ironically, these seven timeframes are not literally named in the text, but they do accurately describe the different ways in which God has interacted with His creation. A literal interpretation of the Bible shows that God has related to mankind in different ways over the course of history, and that Israel and the church are two separate entities. That is the essence of dispensationalism.
Israel, at least a remnant of Israel, as God predicted many times in the OT prophets, became part of the body of Christ, the church. This was the mystery of new revelation revealed thru the Prophets like the Apostle Paul in Ephesians:
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— 2 if indeed you have heard of the [a]dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, 3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
Of course, Paul’s defense here to the new church at Ephesus, since he already knew that he and the other apostles of Jesus as well as Jesus Himself was a Jew, is how God with this mystery of the ages was able to join the Gentiles into the one body of Christ as well as removing the kingdom from Israel, in the words of Jesus Himself, and giving it to the Gentiles, until the fulness of the Gentiles, then the remnant of the Jews saved will become larger.
Modern day Israel and Scofield have a problem with this new mystery revealed in the NT because they are either ignorant of it or have not read and understood it, relying more on the Torah than the words of God in the New Testament which quote most of what Jews and Gentiles need to know from the OT, enough that is to keep them straight if they have eyes to see and ears to hear, also in the words of Jesus, born a Jew.
which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets
While the very declared purpose of God in Ephesians is to bring heaven and earth all into one, Scofield’ s purpose is being divisive as Scofield and a conservative few, but very powerful, try to separate the kingdom of heaven from a postulated kingdom on earth called a millennium, also a word not in the Bible.
“Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him…” (Ephesians 1:9-10)
“That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and
strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world…
NOTE: Thousands, yea even millions of Hebrews were in the commonwealth of Israel during the thousands of years of OT history.
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition
NOTE: Dear Mr. Scofield and victimized followers, who do you think are the two groups that are made one; and what do you think is the middle wall of partition between who that once existed before Christ. The obvious answer if Jew and Gentile were made ONE, and the obvious answer to the second question is that before Christ, the middle wall was between Jew and Gentiles. So in most cases was the Gentiles separate from the nation of Israel, that the word “heathen” was used for Gentiles.
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;
for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
NOTE: Christ in preaching the gospel of the kingdom abolished the enmity between Jews and Gentiles, He got rid of the law of commandments (works) contained in the ordinances; in Himself He made the Jew and Gentile one new man in the one new body, and provided a way of peace for the world when accepted.
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity
NOTE: IN ONE BODY, Scofield mites! That one body is the church.
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
NOTE: Is it not obvious when Paul wrote to the local church at Ephesus that the Jews Were NIGH and the Gentiles were far away. Of course, the plan of God for the nation of Israel the Jews are now until the fulness of the Gentiles is complete are far away and more of the Gentiles are close. It is difficult but, in any time, or age of real history, it is only a remnant of Jews and Gentiles. In the Old Testament days and in the first two centuries after Jesus, the biggest remnant was of the Jews, then as God chose and predicted the largest remnant became the Gentiles, and when the fulness of the Gentiles is complete, a larger remnant for a short period of time before the END will be the Jews. In either case “All Israel will be saved”; that is all Israel of the real Israel of God, that of Jews and Gentiles, will be saved. Do you not realize the God Himself has the right to decide who is in Israel: He gave the name Israel to Jacob in the first place, so He has the right as He does carefully in Romans and thru the Holy Spirit and Paul to define Israel simple as a few (remnants) of saved Jews and saved Gentiles, that they might be one body IN CHRIST.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of
the household of God;
NOTE: Gentiles as of this declaration by God the Father are no longer strangers and foreigners to the real kingdom of God, established on earth with Christ and fulfilled in the forever kingdom of eternity. They with the saved Jews become fellow citizens of both the kingdom, and members of the same household of God which is the church. Is that clear enough for you?
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
NOTE: It takes a real balance of the OT of prophets and the NT of apostles to understand the nature of the church and the kingdom, and it is recommended that you do so with this Bible study of looking together at the OT quotes in the NT with the NT explanation. Apostles and Prophets. And in both the OT and the NT JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF IS THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE, not Israel and not Scofield.
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord…” (Ephesians 2:12-21)
NOTE: It takes a building of the one body the church and a forever kingdom started here on earth to make a holy temple in the Lord. Alias, the church + the kingdom = a holy temple in the Lord of a house not made with hands, eternal and in the heavens. The assembly of the firstborn written in heaven.
