Fables, Labels, and Sound Doctrine.

Welcome to you first 50 and growing followers of “Fables, Labels, and Sound Doctrine” { https://www.facebook.com/Fables-Labels-and-Sound-Doctrine-107686407365970/?modal=admin_todo_tour }; and call your attention to some of the distractors today such as with the 2 visitor posts form Robert Wahler of the modern Gnostic or mysticism. Far be it from SunGrist (Jerry McMichael) to promote and advertise such fables and labels, but sound doctrine from the Bible in the nature of contending for the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3) must be push to the front and upheld by those faithful and loyal to the Word of God.

Coming perhaps originally from Hinduism and Budhism is this philosophy of the “science of the soul”, that the spiritual purpose to human life is “to experience the divinity of God who resides in all of us” with the corrollary expression “that there is only one God and we are expressions of his love”. However we are currently seeing it in Passion Conference thrust, in the mission and service concept and ads of Baylor University under Dr. Livingstone, and in new writers of the gnostics like Wahler and Dr. Elaine Pagels of Princeton Seminary that represent a global philosophy of RSSB. At bottom line this sort of science of the soul so called, is a man made philosophy of very dubious origins, that is Spiritual Idolatry–substituting and promoting as equal other gods to replace of supplement the great Almighty God of the Universe, Our Father which art in heaven and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. This current process formed now into a philosophical movement, and represented now by the modern Gnostics and Passion advocates, is the very process of Idolatry described 2000 years ago in Romans 1.

“Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.” (Romans 1:22)

The primary answer to this big and current fable, other than the Word of God Itself, is the ONE COMMENTARY ON EPHESIANS, by Jerry McMichael and current on Amazon also, that deals with the gnostics, mystics, and the current plague among youth of the MTD, for moralistic therapeutic deism.

Elaine a former convert in a Billy Graham meeting is one of the most outstanding examples of being a victim of liberal seminary education, attending Harvard seminary and teaching at Princeton Seminary (why in the world do Christians pay her to teach Bible, theology, and religion!)
  2. About Robert Wahler: Fables, Labels, and Sound Doctrine About Robert Wahler “I am a Satsangi with the (RSSB) Radha Soami Satsang Beas Philosophical Organization of Beas, India. The current Master is Baba Gurinder Singh.”  https://www.amazon.com/Robert-Wahler/e/B0036UQTQU…
  3. About RSSB: Fables, Labels, and Sound Doctrine Abourt the philosophy of Wahler and his RSSB organization: At the heart of the RSSB teachings is a belief that there is a spiritual purpose to human life – to experience the divinity of God who resides in all of us.
