Let us build 3 Tabernacles Here! {doing good and the change maker}

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, versus the Gospel of Wealth and the corollary of success {an American Dream of things}, versus the Social Gospel {the American Dream of doing the greater good, and justifying a life that had not put God in first place, ignoring the first 4 commands which have to do with God and giving priority to the bottom 6 that are for humanity and doing good.}.

When we try to define the real Gospel, we must recognize that the majority of American voters will not accept it, neither can; for while the American Democratic Faith is a majority faith, the Christian Faith is a faith of the minority, always has been and according to Jesus, God, and the Bible always will be.

feast of tabernacles
“It is good to be here, let us build 3 tabernacles, one for Hillary, one for Trump and one for Jesus; to be more precise, one tabernacle for the gospel of wealth, another tabernacle for the social gospel, and on a basis of equality of state and religion give Jesus one tabernacle.
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” (Matthew 17:1-4)

Moses was great in the service of God, leading under God’s guidance, instructions, and power, the children of Israel out of bondage and to establish one new nation under God; Elijah was great in the warfare between the worship of God and the worship of Baal. Moses represented the law and Elijah the Prophets; however the point that God made was that none were to be compared to Jesus.

Bill Clinton is slick and an outstanding speech maker, obviously the focus of his speech on Hillary at the DNC, which no doubt will also be the theme for the campaign for President, is “doing good” like Jesus who “went about doing good”; and how Hillary in spending her life on her own time devoted to doing good for a very select group counters, I am sure in the mind of Bill, the habitual lack {all lapse on sin but not habitually} of morality in his own life and in that of the unrighteousness exhibited recently with gays and TGBL now of the Democratic Party, moved that horrify the majority of Americans and the majority of States; and which would have to be considered as not in the “common good” of the whole nation but rather of a select few that have turned their back on the first 4 of the Ten Commandments in order to practice their own immoral brand of unrighteousness and humanity.

“The Common Good”

These same kind of very liberal democrats are the same ones that fought against prayer to God in the schools, that campaigned to get God out of the “one nation under God””; and their rebellions against God and His ways and laws are not more evident than NOW. {Atheist like to think of themseves as humanitarians, which of course champions the last 6 commandments without the first 4; and even the last 6 are compromised in their minds and practices with a failure to get the best and most complete interpretation of the 10 by Jesus Himself.

God blesses the nation that honors Him, His commandments, and His righteousness; and God withoutholds blessings from those that do not practice national righteousness. So what is the obvious “Common Good” in this case: (1) to honor and pray to God publically which is also a testimony of where the nation is committed; (2) to shun unrighteounsess and practice righteousness as much as humanly possible, and according to God’s standards in Romans 1; adnd (3) to vote the Christian Conscience in standing up for an American Conscience and is good and for the common good.

So how did Jesus go about doing good, was it like Hillary in her little charity groups.

NOTE: by the way doing good is not necessarily the function of government, rather of charity, churches, and individuals like Hillary in helping so many people in her life; however, not that it is a prime qualification to govern a whole nation as Bill seemed to imply in extolling her vertues, change making, and some kind of do good morality.

The very small number of extreme liberals and humanists are miserable with their god and not a real God like the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they want the rest of America to be miserable with them. Everybody wants to go back to the Constitution but not to the man like Benjamin Franklin who formulated it and said, “Let us pray. If a sparrow can not fall to the ground without His notice, it is certain that a nation can not rise to greatness without his blessing.”

While tabernacles were being built at the Conventions, you heard about the Consitution, but only from those making their living off praying, you did not hear one professional like Benjamin Franklin express a comparable need for prayer. If it was a time of war like in World War II, you can bet you would hear implorations for the blessings of God the Father; well, we are at war with ISIS, and that brings up another point at which the Democrats are not helping this nation with a failure to recognize the magniture of that war and mainly not to face up to the realities of radical Islam, or even mention the name as if they are going to disappear like any other evil if you do not talk about them. The same Democrats of social gospel, only with nation building on the international level, try to apply that social gospel to international equality, failing completely to recognize the difference between god and God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. Is there no Elijah in American politics who can say the equivalent to the nation of “Chose this day whom you will serve. If God be God then serve Him, and if Baal {any other god but the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ} be god, then serve Him. That leaves run for only one National Tabernacle, and that is the Tabernacle from God of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son. There can be no compromise on this!

We still did not get around to how Jesus really went about doing good as Bill implied Hillary has been doing all her life and the prime reason for her to govern! That can not be done by any human, Bill, so forget about that. Here is how the Bible describes how Jesus went about doing good and it is in the words of Simon Peter.

Acts 10:38

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Professional politicians like Bill and Hillary, and also the Republican counterparts would cringe at such words. My, my, my, they would not want to be spoken of as healing the sick and those oppressed of the devil. So it seems Bill must make another approach on doing good so we naturally turn to what Peter said was the “good life”,one that a politician might be able to do–

I Peter 3:10-12

“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”

every day a good day

What if we would erect a tabernacle here to seeing “good days” for surely that is what we are hearing from both the RNC and the DNC?

What does it clearly take for good days here from Peter, good days for a leader, any other person Republican or Democratic, or a nation to see good days? Really there are twin requirments, the love of life and is not the condemned “pride of life” of I John that is a lust just liike the forbidden lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes.

1. The tongue must habitually refrain from evil.
2. The lips must speak no guile.
3. Evil must be eschewed.
4. Must “do good” so that now we see that doing good is keeping the good company of tongue and lips control and the despised of all evil in different forms; then comes an overwhelming committment to peace.
5. Peace for good days and the love of life, and in the company of eschewing evil, mist be (1) the seeking of peace, and (2) the running after peace.

So what do we learn from Peter and the Bible here about “doing good”. That it must part of the total life that loves life and wants to see good days, that has extreme tongue control, a good habit and practice of eschewing evil, and above all in two ways for peace, the seeking of peace and the running after peace. If we can find a candidate to do that, then Christians can overwhelming support them. So truly while we primarily construct a tabernacle for Jesus, we construct another secondary tabernacle for man of the love of life and the future of good days.

A last note of of doing good in the Bible from Pastor James in James 4:14-17, there is the compulsion on all Christians to do good, for not to do the good we know and when we know it is a SIN. And in this context of James Bible, it is controlled by a humble attitude and words which say, “If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this or that.” Have you heard any of that at the Conventions?
James 4:14-17

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
